This is a miserable story for the yough woman, and it also angered many popele as they believed the jailed custmer was setup by ASUS and police, the story began from year 2006, the young woman who was accused of extortion by computer maker ASUS back in 2006 and, as a result, jailed for 10 months, according to a recent report. Huang Jing, whose legal troubles with ASUS began in February of 2006 when she bought an ASUS V6800V notebook which had constant problems that included freeze-ups. After spending 10 months in jail, Huang Jing is now countersuing ASUS for defamation, false accusation and selling defective products.
In addition, Huang Jing is seeking reparation from the state for being jailed for ten months before being released on account of a lack of sufficient evidence. Huang Jing was jailed after ASUS accused her of extortion, when, after her notebook was allegedly repaired using an Intel engineering sample that should not have made it to market, along with other remaining problems, she sued ASUS for $5 million.
"If the news was released to the media, the loss of market share would be far beyond 5 million US dollars," Huang Jing reportedly said early in her dealings with ASUS, and after several unsuccessful negotiations with the hardware company, which led to Huang Jing and her lawyer's arrest.
She was released in December of 2007 after a Haidian District procurator found there was not enough evidence against her. Since her release and the new lawsuit against ASUS, Huang Jing has put up a website (www.asus315.com) that documents other alleged instances where ASUS has cheated its customers.
As today the court will inquistion again , one kinldy person donate Huangjing the money to employ a security car(usually they only ship cash for banks) to ship the vital evenidence ,the fatal laptop, do they fear something happend if Miss Huang take the laptop ?
Definitely! Don't forget we live in a mysterious land -->China. Common people is very small ,comparing the powerful company,though they are foreign company,or just because they are big foreign company. Police? I believe they don't care and won't protect Miss Huang's laptop if it was robbed on the way, someone must wish the laptop missing, then there will be no one can prove Miss Huang is right.
I wish the truth, but I know Miss Huang won't win, or she can win but ASUS won't get punishment which they should.
So what's I can do is only to pray the miracle.
