Mr. Chen's luxury life in prison

Taiwan newspaper reported Chen Liangyu - former mayor of Shanghai, who is living in prison as very good special condition in Beijing Qincheng prison. Chen still wear suit while he should wear prison clothes. A room with 200 square feet, food standard is 200 RMB per day, he can drike wine and read news paper, wathch TV.

 

When I read this news, I am angry and couldn't say a word, a prisoner , espically he has corrupted huge money, make city lost near thousands million from public reserve fund, and profit lots lots of  money by push house price rise , now he still not get punishment ,and still enjoy so easy live.

 

When jobless people in Shanghai can only get 500 RMB unemployment compension in one month! Mr. Chen ,who spent 200 RMB ,per DAY! In prison!

 

Most of people in Shanghai still live without house because the high house price, and one apartment with 100 square feet need one common family to pay back the house loan about 30 years without eat, but Mr. Chen, live in 200 square feet room, in a prison? Who give his right to this?

 

That's the sad of china,because goverment officer aren't the people they declared as "serve common people", actully ,they become top class and speical class, even in prison.

Court open again for jailed customer sues ASUS back for false accusation today

This is a miserable story for the yough woman, and it also angered many popele as they believed the jailed custmer was setup by ASUS and police, the story began from year 2006, the young woman who was accused of extortion by computer maker ASUS back in 2006 and, as a result, jailed for 10 months, according to a recent report. Huang Jing, whose legal troubles with ASUS began in February of 2006 when she bought an ASUS V6800V notebook which had constant problems that included freeze-ups. After spending 10 months in jail, Huang Jing is now countersuing ASUS for defamation, false accusation and selling defective products.

In addition, Huang Jing is seeking reparation from the state for being jailed for ten months before being released on account of a lack of sufficient evidence. Huang Jing was jailed after ASUS accused her of extortion, when, after her notebook was allegedly repaired using an Intel engineering sample that should not have made it to market, along with other remaining problems, she sued ASUS for $5 million.

"If the news was released to the media, the loss of market share would be far beyond 5 million US dollars," Huang Jing reportedly said early in her dealings with ASUS, and after several unsuccessful negotiations with the hardware company, which led to Huang Jing and her lawyer's arrest.

She was released in December of 2007 after a Haidian District procurator found there was not enough evidence against her. Since her release and the new lawsuit against ASUS, Huang Jing has put up a website (www.asus315.com) that documents other alleged instances where ASUS has cheated its customers.

As today the court will inquistion again , one kinldy person donate Huangjing the money to employ a security car(usually they only ship cash for banks) to ship the vital evenidence ,the fatal laptop, do they fear something happend if Miss Huang take the laptop ?

Definitely! Don't forget we live in a mysterious land -->China. Common people is very small ,comparing the powerful company,though they are foreign company,or just because they are big foreign company. Police? I believe they don't care and won't protect Miss Huang's laptop if it was robbed on the way, someone must wish the laptop missing, then there will be no one can prove Miss Huang is right.

I wish the truth, but I know Miss Huang won't win, or she can win but ASUS won't get punishment which they should.

So what's I can do is only to pray the miracle.

copycatting culture in China

Latest news: Google accuse copycat site court will be openned on June 15 .

Back to 3 years ago,after google announced its chinese name is "Guge"(chinese pronunciation), soon later a new company appeared in Shanghai with name "Guge Shanghai technology corporation" ,the company do many activities on web hosting ,domain service,then Google think this company can let common people think it is Shanghai branch of Google, and asked the company to changed its name, but got rejected.

Google now accused the site abuse Google brand and the court will hear the case on June 15.

I have no comment on this case but would like to introduce copycatting in China.

Hi-Phone, I-Pone,A-Phone, Apple Phone...., all of the name is the cellphone name in China like Iphone , and that's the copycatting culture, Iphone is very expense and it not legal sell in China, so many small cellphone makers design and product the X-Phone which like Iphone, not only copy the shape, but also the function, the latest Hi-Phone is very like Iphone, maybe the different is only the name, but the price is only 1/3 of Iphone, even more less.

The early copycat product only "copy", but now they begin design new shape with what you like, such as shine color, screen, keyboard,solar charge battery, which attracted many young people ,first are colleges, now more young even not young will buy a new copycatting cellphone, the logic is I can use Iphone with little money because it is very cheap ,even I lost it ,I will not feel pity.

Copycatting is extending to many fields now, we have copycat cellphone, copycat laptop (though not popular now), copycat actor or actress , which are one person whose face may very like one famous actor or actress,this person then have chance to shot some commercial in television.

All of those don't against chinese law, and government can't find one way to forbid ,or maybe they don't think it is worth to forbid.

Google's copycatting brand, or any copycatting brand behaviors , which not the new trend ,if google win, maybe more company will join the actions to protect their right- I mean if it is really their right.

New gateway to internet in China

China has stated all PC sellers must install the content filter software in new PC soon which developed by a government background company, the target is to filter sex and porn content as the announcement.

As living in China, the sex information is everywhere ,even in some portal website, such as http://www.sina.com.cn/ http://www.sohu.com/ , when I connect to yahoo or AOL, I never found many picture in the homepage of them ,but in China, it is very common to find some picture not very "porn", so it is grey place, why don't they strike the portal to remove those content if government want to protect "the young generation" ?

It is heard that the software costed 45 million RMB to develop, although it is a good intent to protect child but it also showed government don't want to spent their time to solve the problem from root ,which is strike sex site with high punishment.

Considering recently many high-profile event happened and government found the root come from interment, so the software be push out and let me doubt government realized interment is becoming the unstable threat from common people.

Many sites blocked by GFW, so the root resolve solution is to block from end PC.

Google launched online shop search service in China

Now google is showing his interesting in the online sell for C2C business, although google not involve in C2C till now, but seems China booming online sell attracted google.

The first C2C online site is www.eachnet.com, then it is www.taobao.com, now Taobao is the first C2C site . For me, I have never buy anything in Eachnet till now, but I have spent tens thousand in Taobao, since Baidu started C2C service and want to share the market ,till now there are many online C2C site but seems Taobao still is the first selection when young people come to buy something online.

Will google run C2C business in China one day? Even google want, it is hard to run in China, because China still on the governance with many side- bank, logistic, payment term, so the answer is only domestic company has the chance to develop their C2C platform, but when google focus on the shop search, wow! what's a great service for me !

Yes, I like google because google is always focusing on search.

One question : In one country, their CPI and PPI is dropping for more than half a year, but the house price is up very high ,so which country?

Anyway, it is a very weird thing, some young people -and some not young became famous and earn amount money just because of some book they posted on the website.

Shanda will purchase Hurray

Shanda (Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd.) will buy  Hurray(Hurray! Holding Co) with $46.2M.

 

I got this new yesterday but I don't know the company Hurray, I though it is a retail firm, then I check the news and knew it is a telecom add-value service provider- I have never use such service, so I don't know.

 

However I do know Shanda, a company more known by Chinese youth as online novel website- www.qidian.com, also include some other site merged by it, such as famous online novel site www.houxie.com . Millions novels books (maybe more) product each year.
